SpotBubbles: An Interactive Spotify Listening Insights Visualizer

Live Demo | GitHub

SpotBubbles is an interactive data visualization that brings Spotify listening habits to life. Using bubble-based visualizations, this project allows users to explore their most played tracks and artists over different timeframes (short, medium, and long-term). Each bubble dynamically represents the popularity of a track or artist, with fluid motion, hover details, and animated interactions for an engaging experience.

Designed with D3.js and React, SpotBubbles integrates the Spotify API to provide real-time insights into user preferences. The visualization features:

  • Toggle options to switch between tracks and artists.

  • Animated transitions for seamless exploration of data.

  • Hover interactions to display key details.

  • Bounce effects and responsive design for a polished, immersive feel.

  • Audio playback support, allowing users to listen to their favorite tracks directly in-app.

This project showcases my skills in data visualization, creative coding, and UI design, blending technical development with an intuitive user experience.
